Ja sanon nyt heti, että pidän Sandra Bullockista ja hänen roolinsa The Blind Sidessa oli mielestäni vahva, mutta omasta mielestäni voiton olisi kuitenkin ansainnut Helen Mirren roolistaan elokuvassa The Last Station=Viimeinen asema.The winner of a best actress in a leading role was Sandra Bullock from her role in a movie The Blind Side. I like Sandra Bullock and I feel that her role in the Blind Side was strong, but I feel that Helen Mirren was so strong in her role in the movie The Last Station that the Oscar would've belonged to her.
Voitto parhaasta miespääosasta meni sen sijaan Jeff Bridgesille, eikä suotta. Kävin eilen katsomassa hänen tähdittämänsä elokuvan Crazy Heart ja hänen roolinsa teki minuun syvän vaikutuksen. Colin Firthin ollessa Bridgesin rinnalla vahva ehdokas, voitto meni mielestäni kuitenkin tällä kertaa täysin oikeaan osoitteeseen.The winner of a best actor in a leading role category was Jeff Bridges, for a good reason. I saw the movie Crazy Heart yesterday and his role had a huge impact on me. Colin Firth was a tough competitor, but I feel that this Oscar went to a right guy.
Paras naissivuosa oli jo hiukan ennalta arvattavissa aiempien voittojensa perusteella. Voiton vei siis Mo-Nique roolistaan elokuvassa Precious.The best actress in a supporting role winner was kinda easy to predict, since she had already won so many nominations. So the winner was Mo-Nique from her role in the movie Precious.
Samoin kuin paras miessivuosa-voittaja Christoph Waltz roolistaan elokuvassa Inglourious Basterds.As well as the best actor in a supporting role winner Christoph Waltz from Inglourious Basterds.
